White wines

Meursault 2002 Bouree (France)
This is an outstanding vintage. Bernard Vallet has produced a classic white Burgundy.
Gewurztraminer Grand Cru Brandt' 1998 Cavesde Turckheim (France)
Considered by many people to be the ideal accompaniment to spicy foods, the intense lychee and grapefruit characters of the Gewurztraminer grape are so ripe that this wine is almost medium-dry in style. Connoisseurs will truly appreciate this fabulous example.
Avery Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc 2004 (New Zealand)
Produced by Kiwi Master of WIne, Steve Smith, this is a text-book example of the Marlborough style; herbaceous aromas and a zesty gooseberry and passion-fruit palate.
Cape Mentelle Chardonnay 2002 Margaret River (Australia)
A richly flavoured chardonnay that has benefited from barrel-naturation, it has attractive creamy butterscotch qualities and lots of tropical pineapple fruit flavours.

Red wines

Chateu Brane Cantenac 1995 2eme Cru Classe Margaux (France)
A very fine vintage displaying all of the elegant cedar-wood and forest-fruit flavours that we look for in a fine Claret. As it approaches 10 years of age, this is now drinking beautiful.
Contino Rioja Reserva 1997 (Spain)
Justifably regarded as one of Spain's greatest red wines, Contino was the first single-estate Rioja. Complex aromas of smoky damson and cigar boxes are matched by a beautiful balanced palate, ending with a soft vanilla-oak finish.
Barolo 'Bussia' Poderi Colla 1997 (Italy)
From one of the best vineyard sites in the Barolo region, and from an outstanding vintage. Complex truffle, tar and violets is layers of silky tannins.
Penfold's Bin 707 Cabernet Sauvignon 1997 (Australia)
One of Australia's greatest wines, Bin 707 has incredibly intense blackcurrant and eucalyptus tones, with a firm tannic structure and great length.
